At Sarah Storm Psychology, I embrace the unique benefits of animal-assisted therapy. While sessions are conducted via telehealth, my horses and dogs can join us through video calls, offering a calming and interactive element to our work together.
Our animal team plays a special role in making your therapy experience unique and engaging. Each member brings their own personality and charm to our sessions:
Chief – The gentle giant of the group, Chief is an older paint gelding with a calm and nurturing presence. His steady nature helps clients feel grounded and secure during sessions.
Sunny – Our young and curious palomino Australian Stock Horse (ASH), Sunny’s inquisitive nature encourages mindfulness and awareness of the environment. He inspires clients to connect with their surroundings in a thoughtful and meaningful way.
Hank – A Neo Mastiff x Bandog puppy who radiates love and enthusiasm. Hank’s playful nature reminds us to embrace fun and live in the moment.
Major & Floki – These fluffy Pomeranians are independent spirits who make appearances on their own terms. Major encourages clients to stay calm and composed, perfect for practicing grounding and patience. While Floki's nature teaches clients the value of patience, gentle approaches, and respecting boundaries.
Together, our Fur Team provides comfort, joy, and connection, whether they’re helping you stay grounded or simply bringing a smile to your face. Their presence reminds us that therapy can be both meaningful and light-hearted.
